“The mating dance of the wild Storki is a complicated affair, full of posturing and flamboyance. The confidence of these two intelligent males, seen here coming together in the height of the season’s heat, could make for a splendid match - or for devastating heartbreak and eventual defenestration. Ahh, yes, yes, we see here the taller of the two making his move - oh, but what’s this? It seems that, despite the impressive length and rigidity of his staff, he is unable to perform. The poor darling, what a blow to his pri—- oh, and it seems the other male is mocking him. Never a good call, as the rebuffed male of the Storki species can often be quite vio—— and there he goes! Is he— why yes, yes he is —- ahh, and going, going, gone! The taller male has summarily dismissed and tossed his would-be mate from the nest! Good people, the smaller male has been spurned! Spurned once again! No luck this time, gents. Perhaps he’s return to give it a go-around tomorrow. Ladies and gentlemen, let’s cross our fingers for the star-crossed darlings in hopes that this is not the last we see of their passionate, volatile courtship.
